Reginald Marsh (1898-1954) printmaker and painter, was born in Paris, France to American artist parents on March 14, 1898. When he was two his parents moved to Nutley, New Jersey where he was raised. He studied at Yale University art School and at the Art Students League. In 1922 he was hired to sketch vaudeville and burlesque performers for a feature in the New York Daily News these subjects would continue in his work throughout his career. He is also known for his many works at Coney Island.
